Historically all pre-1930 buildings were built with cotswold Lime mortar and by craftsmen who knew that using Lime mortar would allow movement of the buildings to occur, also making the building breathable and damp free. Never use theroseal, tanking, chemical injection or any cement based products! “Do it once, do it right!”

We specialise in lime pointing, lime render, stone cleaning, paint removal, Stone restoration, lime wash and breathable paints, all to create a damp, moisture free environment. We also do alterations to listed buildings, such as knock-throughs, openings, steels, windows, doorways, fireplaces and porches always using lime mortar and traditional products.
