Glapour limescreed and crete insulated floor system

Limecrete is a breathable and sustainable alternative to concrete. It is a mix of natural hydraulic lime (NHL5) and sharp sand or sometimes glass fibres are mixed in to give a more durable surface. Cotswold Lime Limecrete floors are a perfect marriage of traditional building methods and modern technology. Underfloor heating works well with limecrete and can be laid directly in the slab or installed in the screed. It is a 'breathable' material, which allows the transmission of water vapour. When used as a floor slab, this can help ensure that any rising damp does not affect breathable wall constructions.

· Lime crete flooring done the traditional way

· Underfloor heating

· Sharp sand mixes or a more durable glass fibre can be used

· Nhl5 for hardest setting

· Geoxtextile membrane

· Hempcrete
